本科旨在重點介紹當代法國哲學家的基本思想特徵、主要成就、他們在哲學活動帶來的創新以及對其他人文與社會科學研究的影響。本學期研討的哲學家包括：梅洛龐蒂 (Merleau-Ponty) 、傅柯 (Foucault) 和德里達 (Derrida) 。
