In talking about history of philosophy and phenomenology, the problem of temporality of perception is an appropriate topic which deserves attention. It was an historical problem implied at the very core of Hume¡¦s philosophy, and Kant¡¦s as well; and it was brought to the center of phenomenology by Husserl. I try in this paper to explicate a developing line of thinking from Hume to Husserl through Kant in their treatments of this problem.
